Dr Bling Bling
Both are iPhone apps made by people who care how an app looks. They differ on the one thing that matters most here: how your money gets into them.
If you are in the US, happy to connect your accounts and glad to pay yearly for a very polished app, Copilot is a strong choice.
If you do not want an app connected to your bank, or you live outside the US, Copilot is not the one. Its own FAQ says it supports US institutions only.
| Copilot | Dr Bling Bling | |
|---|---|---|
| How money gets in | Connection to your accounts | Bank statements you add yourself |
| Cost | $109 billed yearly | Free, with a one-time purchase to unlock everything |
| Countries | US institutions only | Any statement it can read. On sale worldwide |
| Budgets and investments | Yes | No |
| Account needed | Yes | No |
| Works on | iPhone, iPad, Mac, web | iPhone only |
Transactions turn up without you doing anything. It tracks investments, has budgets, and runs on your Mac and iPad. If you want a daily money app, it is built for that, and this one is not.
Your statements stay on your iPhone. There is no server and no account, and the app collects no usage data at all.
It costs nothing to use, and the one purchase is paid once. And it is not tied to one country's banks, because a PDF has no idea where it came from. It reads English, Portuguese and Spanish, and it has been tested hardest on Portuguese statements.
It is not automatic. You add statements yourself. If you want to open a money app every morning and see yesterday's coffee, this is the wrong app, and Copilot may well be the right one.
Free to download, and every way of adding a statement is free. No bank login, no account, no subscription.
Its FAQ says it supports US-based financial institutions and accounts only.
Dr Bling Bling is iPhone only, so not this one.
Written by the people who make Dr Bling Bling, so weigh it accordingly. What we say about other apps is what they published on 1 November 2026, and prices and features change. Their names belong to their owners, and we have no connection with them. Sources: Copilot pricing, Copilot FAQ.
