Questions people actually ask

If yours is not here, write to us. The address is at the bottom and a person reads it.

Do I have to give you my bank login?

No, and there is nowhere to type one. The app never connects to a bank. It reads a file you already have.

Which banks does it work with?

Any bank that lets you download a statement as PDF, Excel or CSV, which is very nearly all of them. The app carries step-by-step instructions for 22 banks across Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom, and general instructions for everywhere else. Only Santander Portugal has been walked through end to end by us.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Statements are read on the iPhone and stay there. If you switch on iCloud backup, your ledger goes to your own iCloud account, the same way your photos do, and we still never see it.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, entirely. There is nothing for it to connect to.

What if it puts a payment in the wrong place?

Tap it and move it. That correction becomes permanent, applies to every payment to the same place including the ones already in, and can be undone or changed later.

Can I delete everything?

Yes, in Settings, in one place. It tells you exactly how much is about to go before it goes.

What does it cost?

Nothing. No subscription, no adverts, no in-app purchases.

Will it tell me I am spending too much?

No. It describes what happened and what it cost. It gives no advice and recommends no financial product, ever.

What do I need to run it?

An iPhone running iOS 18 or later. The part that guesses a shop's category from its name uses Apple's on-device model and needs iOS 26; without it the app still works and simply asks you about more of them.

What languages does it speak?

English, Portuguese and Spanish, and it follows whatever your iPhone is set to.

When will it be on the App Store?

I am not going to guess a date, because every date I guessed so far has been wrong. Leave an email address on the front page and you will hear the day it is there. One message, and nothing else ever.

Is there an Android version?

No, and there is no plan for one. The app leans on things that only exist on the iPhone.
