Dr Bling Bling
Most people come to Rocket Money to find the subscriptions they forgot about. Your bank statement already lists every one of them.
Rocket Money will act for you. It can cancel subscriptions and negotiate bills, which this app cannot.
Dr Bling Bling only tells you. It shows what is being paid every month and what is new, and leaves the rest to you. It needs no bank connection and no subscription to do that.
| Rocket Money | Dr Bling Bling | |
|---|---|---|
| How money gets in | Linked accounts | Bank statements you add yourself |
| Finds repeat payments | Yes | Yes, from the statement |
| Cancels things for you | Yes, on Premium | No |
| Bill negotiation | Yes, for a share of the savings | No |
| Cost | Free, or a monthly Premium | Free, with a one-time purchase to unlock everything |
| Account needed | Yes | No |
Reviews published this year put Premium between about $6 and $14 a month, with you choosing the figure, and the bill negotiation fee at 35% to 60% of the first year's savings. Rocket Money's own help pages did not state the fee, so look at the figure in the app before agreeing to anything.
If you have a list of subscriptions and no wish to phone anybody, having somebody else cancel them is a real service. It also shows balances and has budgets.
Spotting a forgotten payment does not need a connection to your bank. It needs a list of payments, and you already have one. With the one-time purchase, the check-up on the 3rd of each month tells you what started and what stopped, in one notification, then leaves you alone.
Finding the subscription is the part that needs help. Cancelling usually takes one visit to Settings on your iPhone, under your Apple Account, or to the company's website.
There is also nothing here to cancel, because the app has no subscription of its own.
It will not cancel anything, negotiate anything or watch your balance. It will not tell you a charge has happened until you add the statement that shows it.
Free to download, and every way of adding a statement is free. No bank login, no account, no subscription.
Look for the same company and a similar amount on two or three statements in a row. Dr Bling Bling does that reading for you from statements you add, without a connection.
No, the monthly check-up is part of the one-time purchase. Everything you add stays stored either way.
Written by the people who make Dr Bling Bling, so weigh it accordingly. What we say about other apps is what they published on 1 November 2026, and prices and features change. Their names belong to their owners, and we have no connection with them. Sources: Rocket Money help, The Spokesman-Review on Rocket Money.
