Dr Bling Bling

Spendee or Dr Bling Bling?

Spendee is a tidy money tracker with wallets you can share. Dr Bling Bling does one narrower job, which is reading your bank statements.

The short answer

If you want to track money together with somebody, or you use Android, Spendee does things this app cannot.

If you want your statements read without an account and without another yearly charge, this one is built for exactly that.

Where Spendee is better

Sharing, budgets, Android, and bank sync if you want it. Its Plus plan is also inexpensive by the standards of this category.

Where Dr Bling Bling is better

It starts from the document your bank already gives you. PDF, Excel, CSV or a photograph of a paper one. It checks the statement's own arithmetic where it can, and everything stays on the phone.

What it will not do

There is no sharing between two people and no Android version. Your ledger lives on one iPhone, and it is part of that phone's own backup if you have one switched on.

Questions people ask

Does Dr Bling Bling sync between devices?

No. The ledger stays on your iPhone and goes wherever your iPhone's own backup goes.
