Moneyhub has closed. What now?
Moneyhub set 14 August 2026 as the date to close its consumer app. If you relied on it, the history can be rebuilt, and your bank is where you will find it.
What happened
Moneyhub announced that it would stop offering its app to consumers and focus on its business partnerships. It gave 14 August 2026 as the target date for closing the remaining accounts, and said data would then be deleted from its systems.
If you downloaded your transactions as a CSV before that date, keep the file safe. If you did not, the original record still exists, because your bank holds it.
Rebuilding your history
Sign in to your bank and download your statements. UK banks generally keep them for years, as PDFs and often as spreadsheet exports. Do the same for each card.
If you want something like Moneyhub
For a connected view of all your accounts, the names most often given are Emma and Snoop, and your own bank may do more than you think. Monzo and Lloyds both have budgeting tools in their apps. All of these rely on a live connection.
If this has put you off connected apps
This is the second time UK users have been through it. Money Dashboard closed in October 2023. When your history lives on a company's servers, it lasts as long as the company's interest does.
Dr Bling Bling works the other way round. It reads your statements on your iPhone and keeps the ledger there. We hold no servers with anybody's money on them, so there is nothing for us to switch off. Give it a few years of statements and your history is back, sorted by month and category, and it is yours.
Fair warning, though. It is a smaller thing than Moneyhub was. There are no live balances, no pensions or investments, and no net worth. It shows where the money went, on an iPhone only.

Questions people ask
Can I still get my Moneyhub data?
Moneyhub said data would be deleted after closure, so a download may no longer be possible. Your bank statements hold the same transactions.
Does Dr Bling Bling import a Moneyhub CSV?
It is built to read bank statements. An export in another format may not read cleanly, so use your bank's own files.
